Recurrent dislocation or subluxation of the shoulder after previous surgery could be due to significant bone loss (>25%) of the glenoid or humeral head. In that situation, a bone block procedure is necessary. New arthroscopic technique is now available to address this situation with bone transfer from coracoid or bone from the iliac crest with good stabilizing effect. The technique was introduced Hong Kong in 2015.
