We are treating rotator cuff tears arthroscopically. Dr. Mok’s practice runs teaching workshops in the UK and in Europe, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Beijing hospital for shoulder surgeons
Torn rotator cuff tendons causes night pain with weakness of the arm in elevation to the shoulder level. Recent research has shown that the tear will extend over time. Traditional open surgery involves detaching muscles and drilling bone tunnels to secure the repair. Keyhole surgery eliminates these painful steps. You can see how a partially torn tendon (left) has been repaired back into position (right).
